Web based logistics application
Client: Briconomics
Briconomics wanted to introduce a physical retail product into their business which, up until that point, had been entirely served through web sales. Our challenge was to to understand their existing business and then work with them to find the best way of integrating the new product into their web-sales and back-office processes.
The solution we provided was a private web application that lets Briconomics staff manage stock of the physical product, bringing together the necessary communication with the manufacturer, distributors and their internal back-office systems.
We have also been able to respond quickly to update and adapt the system to deal with the inevitable issues that come up when the virtual system meets the real world.
Project highlights
- Once there is a basic framework for the solution in place the rest is all changeable
- Working with small businesses that are undergoing rapid growth is a lot of fun
